after 1 month in malay kitchen...
finally i have been changed to the nex "destination"..
which is the housekeeping.. well.
its my favourite and most preferable subject/area
since long long time ago.. although its tiring..
but its jus because of this department i do not need to
communicate wif guests as much as other front of the house..
so.. conclusion can be said that i more prefer Back of the House.. ^^
well... even i luv housekeeping alot..
but for sure.. i still quite scare during the 1st day..
i heard frm my junior that ady entered n finished in this department
said that the ppl there r quite ok n nice..
jus the manager is not so.. haha..
hope tat i doesn't need to work wif her so muc la.. ><
but as i wish.. i dint even talk more that 5 mins wif her
since the first dat untill now.. lol.. ><
they had given me a list of schedule to follow
during this 1 month in housekeeping..
i hav to go for a few area to hav some experience..
such as room attendant for the first week..
follow by mini bar checker, linen porter, laundry checker,
clerk, public area.. room supervisor n public area supervisor..
i like most of it.. except public area.. lol..
i hav to expose to "public"... wahahah :P
I enjoyed my time a lot during i worked as a room attendant..
its tiring but happy ^^
in my hotel.. v hav new block n old block..
new block sure wif nicer rooms la..
old block r smaller rooms n appartments.. ><
for sure.. i more prefer new block although room r bigger..
evryday i hv to follow 1 kakak/abang to do the room cleaning..
1 day at new block 1 day at old block.. alternative changed..
when doing the room cleaning.. i always did the minibar n bathroom..
its bcz these r more easier n lighter ^^
bed makin is vry tiring n heavier... ><
but for sure... only some kakak/abang will let me do that
got 1 kakak.. nope.. shud be aunty.. haha..
she is old.... n ... she not allow me to do toilet..
haha... ==lll she jus let me living room area n
do the bed making together wif her ^^
but duno y.. when i folow her.. i will be more tired..
luckily.. i only followed her twice ^^ wahaha...
otherwise... all the kakak are very nice to me..
they even share their life story or experience wif me..
i appriciated wif it a lots..!!! really like these kind of ppl..
but got one day.. i hav been asked to help abang instead of kakak..
well.. first time to be partnered wif a male partner..
sure abit awkward la..sumore i nvr talk wif him before..lol..
but who knws.. he is the kind of person that like to talk/chat..
ask me this la.. ask me that la..lol..><
even got 1 room.. he talked to me when i walk out frm the bathroom..
then i forgot to take the toothbrush to refill the bathroom amenities.. ==
hahaa... the funny thg is.. he is SAME AGE wif me..
lol.. when he told me.. i dun trust him.. then he show his
IC to prove his age.. walaoa.. nvr tot that he is tat young..! haha..
n other funny thg is.. when both of us in the lift..
v dint talk.. == *awkward*.. then the whole lift diam diam shj..
n both of us looking on the same point..
the place that the lift show which floor no. the lift at.. ==lll hahaha..
well... there was oso another funny thg that i nvr seen before
but happended in this hotel.. which is.. the housekeeping
office will flood when its raining heavily... ==lll
this is so called firve star hotel la.. wif a poor paiping system..
not even solve the problem to help the office..
lol.. then keep on renovate the rooms only.. ==
not even the office.. even the toilets at the 1st floor..
the water in the toilet bowl oso will like "exploding" when raining heavily..
the best thg i love in room makin is the smell of the
amenities.. hahah... damn nice one!! haha
n.. i hate the most is the flooded bathroom..
n.. the fallen hair of the guest on the wet floor.. ==lll yuck!
but anyway.. im happy n enjoy my time
as a ROOM ATTENDANT ^^
